MassDiGI Summer Innovation Program 2026
Fishy Missile is a 2D, incremental mobile game about collecting scrap metal from the ocean to help EVL Corp blow up the moon! It was made with Unity as part of MassDiGI's Summer Innovation Program 2026, an intercollegiate program that creates an indie studio environment for 3 teams to develop mobile games. We developed this game in house from scratch, starting with ideation, then creating a quick prototype, then establishing long-term production practices, and deploying builds to the App Store and Google Play Store. Our game is shipped and available to play on iOS and Android, and earns ad revenue!

Iterated on game ideas in a team of 6, focusing on short-to-mid-term game loops and player retention.
Collaborated with two other programmers, delegating tasks using a kanban board, establishing coding conventions, and reviewing each other's code.
Designed prefabs and programmed C# scripts for gameplay mechanics and systems including player behaviors, UI screens, and tutorials.
Assisted in tuning our procedural generation system and shop economy to control the pace of players' progression.
Set up our team’s building and deployment pipeline using Unity Build Automation and Fastlane to automatically upload builds to Google Play Store Console and TestFlight for iOS.
Created our game’s App Store pages for iOS and Android, complete with gameplay screenshots and descriptions.
In addition to my technical work, I also aided MassDiGI's social media presence. I filmed and edited a vlog centered around a day in the life of our team's plushie mascot, and captured gameplay footage for our game's trailer.
I need to give a huge thank you to my team, the Carpybaras (as in Carp and Capybara). I've learned so much about myself and professional game development through working with them!
I also want to extend my thanks to everybody in SIP 2026. While each team worked on a different game, we helped each other figure out technical issues, and provided feedback as we developed our games. It was so much fun to work with you all every day!
